Spanish Adjectives
So, as you can see, Spanish adjectives can have four forms, depending on whether the nouns they describe are masculine or feminine, singular or plural. The following words all mean exactly the same thing (tall).
Masculine | Feminine | |
---|---|---|
Singular | alto | alta |
Plural | altos | altas |
This is true for all adjectives whose base form ends in "o" but for adjectives that end in other letters, the rules are somewhat different.
